HEAD OF MUSIC/TEACHER OF PIANO AND VIOLIN - Part-time role, 4 days/week - responsible for musical education at primary level including specific tuition for violin and piano.
I introduced bi-annual Musical Soirees to help develop pupils' confidence and introduce them to the formality of public performances whilst showcasing their abilities to parents.
During breaks, I taught pupils musical intervals and composition which I felt helped to develop their capabilities beyond what was required in the curriculum.
I lead a quartet, did preparation for festivals, assemblies, local events and ABRSM grade exams.
